What Cinapp is

Cinapp started with the challenge of watching one movie a day. Today it is the place to mark every movie you watch with the date you saw it, rate it, write what you thought and plan the next ones.

It is for movies only. It works in the browser, on iPhone and on Android, with the same account.

What you can do

  • Diary of watched movies. Log each movie with the date you saw it and browse your history by year, month and week.
  • Ratings and reviews. Rate each movie and write what you thought.
  • Lists. Build themed lists to keep or share.
  • Calendar. The movies you want to watch go on the calendar, one per day, and you can reschedule whenever you need.
  • Ranking. Earn points as you watch and compare your pace in the community ranking.
  • Stats. See how many movies and how many hours you watched in each period.
  • Where to watch. See which streaming service has each movie.

How to get started

  1. Create your free account with an email and a username.
  2. Search for a movie you have already watched, tap "I watched it" and pick the date.
  3. Add the movies you want to watch. Each one goes into the next free day on the calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cinapp free?

Yes. Creating an account, logging movies, using the calendar, building lists and seeing your stats are free, on the website and in the app.

Does Cinapp have TV shows?

No. Cinapp is for movies only: the diary, the lists and the calendar all work with movies.

Does my diary show up in search engines?

Only if you want it to. Your profile stays out of search engines until you turn that option on when editing your profile.

Can I use it on my phone and my computer?

Yes. Cinapp works in the browser and has an app for iPhone and Android. You use the same account everywhere.
