How to see the movies you watched on Netflix

Netflix keeps what each profile watched on the Viewing activity page. See how to open that list in a browser, download the file and keep your movies in Cinapp.

Where the history is

Netflix calls the history Viewing activity. It lives on the Account page and is split by profile. This guide follows the browser path, which is the one described in Netflix's official help.

Step by step in a browser

  1. Open the Account page.
  2. Select Profiles and pick the profile.
  3. Open Viewing activity.
  4. If the list looks short, use Show more.

How to download the history

At the bottom of the Viewing activity page, use Download all. The file opens in any spreadsheet program. If the account is inactive, first request a copy of your data from the Account page.

What to know first

  • The history is per profile. There is no single list for the whole account.
  • The file mixes movies and TV episodes.
  • Kids profiles cannot hide titles.
  • Hiding a title can take up to 24 hours to apply on all devices. Hide all clears the profile's entire history.

Keep your movies in Cinapp

Cinapp does not import history from any service and is not affiliated with Netflix. Use the list as a guide: search for each movie in Cinapp, tap "I watched it" and pick the date you saw it.
